Design Lead, Prototype & Design - Primarily responsible for enhancing the User Experience across all Benefits offerings by providing UI and UX support to ensure products align with market strategy and corporate UI/UX direction. Lead on design-orientated projects targeting corporate initiatives including sales, marketing, rapid prototyping of concepts, and benefits portal offerings.

Xerox Corporation (Formerly ACS)

11/05– 4/12
Lead Visual Designer – Design lead on maintenance and lead-generation initiatives pertaining to an online Benefits Management application (This is continued work from the Mellon Financial position). Design lead on documentation standards for the User Experience Group division of ACS.

Projects have included project management for the Adelphia portal and website, Identity creation and website design for Knichel Logistics, Flash development for Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Animation creation for the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Digital Marquee System, Concept creation of PNC Advisor’s proposed website redesign.

Scheffey Integrated Marketing

3/05 – 11/05
Visual Design/Interaction – Designed and developed static HTML and Flash websites. Provided additional project planning and design support to existing clients. Clients included: In The Game Marketing, Stainmaster Carpet, Armstrong Flooring, York Wallcoverings, and Atomic Design. Co-designed website for Scheffey as well.

Mellon Financial

Visual Design/Interaction – Developed concepts and prototypes for end-to-end online Benefits Management application from both a design and information architecture perspective. Design lead on documentation standards for the Corporate e-Commerce group. Initiated new strategies for internal solutions.

MAYA Design, Inc.

5/01– 7/02
Visual Designer – Primarily developed motion graphics and web interfaces for internal and external clients. Other responsibilities included project management, research and development, and production management. Clients included: Merrill Lynch, Pittsburgh Public Theater, PNC, DARPA, Highmark, and MAYA.

Art Director – Co-Developed a creative team for local office, established internal processes, design lead on most projects. Clients included: Eldervision, OYO gear, and PNC Advisors.

Art Director – Co-development of sales strategy and production process as well as design and art direction. Clients included: American Eagle Outfitters 1999 Annual Report, Bobby Jones website design and prototyping.

Senior Graphics Designer – Co-design lead on design projects. Assisted in Research and Development and primary interface designer for prototype DVD. Clients included: USWEB/CKS – internal DVD sales tool titled: visionsuite, AOL, Carrier Heating and Cooling, Eat N Park, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Lycos Ventures, and Klipsch Speakers.

Sladekutter, Ltd.

2/96 – 8/98
Senior Web Designer – Responsibilities included art direction, web development, and client relations. Developed Sladekutter identity including logo design, print collateral, website. Identity earned a Matrix Award for best identity under $5,000.00.
Clients included: 84 Lumber, ESPN, MSA, WXDX FM and WDVE FM, MetalSite.

Caldon, Inc.

3/94 – 3/95
Marketing Communications Specialist – Responsible for all outgoing company collateral and preliminary CAD drawings. Clients included, Alaskan Pipeline, United States Navy, Nuclear Facilities across the U.S. and Europe.
